Each product is made from 25-momme Mulberry silk enriched with silver ions to support clearer skin, smoother hair, and calmer sleep.
What are ZILK products made from?
Every ZILK piece is made from 100% 6A-grade Mulberry silk — the highest quality available — with a dense 25-momme weave for strength, smoothness, and durability. Each fiber is infused with SILVADUR™ silver-ion technology from DuPont to help resist bacteria and odor.
What is SILVADUR™ silver-ion technology?
SILVADUR™ is a silver-ion technology developed by DuPont, woven directly into silk fibers to keep fabric fresher between washes. It's Oeko-Tex® and bluesign® certified for safety and responsible textile production.
Are silver ions safe?
Yes. SILVADUR™ is OEKO-TEX® and bluesign® approved, non-irritating, and safe for skin contact. The silver ions are securely bonded at the fiber level, meaning they won’t wash away or enter waterways.

Care + Maintenance
How should I wash my ZILK silk?
Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a pH-neutral silk detergent. Or, machine wash on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag with like colors. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Lay flat or hang to air dry.
Can I machine wash ZILK silk?
Yes, using a mesh bag and delicate cycle. Hand washing is recommended for smaller items like sleep masks and scrunchies.
Can I tumble dry silk?
No. High heat can damage silk fibers and dull the luster. Always air dry.
Can I iron or steam silk?
Yes. Use low heat while the fabric is slightly damp, or use a handheld steamer. Always turn inside out or use a pressing cloth for protection.
How often should I wash my pillowcase?
Every 7–10 days is ideal. Thanks to silver-ion freshness, ZILK silk stays cleaner longer than cotton.

Where does ZILK ship from?
U.S. orders ship from our fulfillment center in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. For customers in Europe, please visit our EU store at zilksleep.com.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 60 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with all tags intact. Returns that show signs of wear, washing, or damage will not be accepted.
To start a return, log into your account using the email address used at checkout and select “Request return.”
A flat $8 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
Items marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for return unless defective.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days once the return is received.
